Mark Spy Robot Collection - MIB - £300

This is the complete set of Super Mechanic Spy Robots made by Mark in the 1980's. This was a direct riff on Takara's Micro Change line but aimed at less generous parental wallets. Unlike most toys by Mark these are surprisingly high quality: featuring die-cast parts, quality engineering, accessories and transformations. They were licensed by Grandstand and released in the West as part of the Converters range. All toys are MIB and have never been removed from the packaging. There is a second Zoom Robo in black that is included but not pictured. Difficult to amass a complete set in this condition - the double giftset is particularly rare.

357 Magnum Robo - MIB - £400

This is a Highway Patrolman Magnum 357 Robo, made by Sunmayor in 1982. This is the original Japanese release (there was also an Italian version). He is MIB and comes complete with detachable scope, bullet pack and bullets. He has real heft in gun mode and features high quality plastic and die-case metal. Though in robot mode he is not exactly svelte (it's here Takara's superior understanding of transforming mechanisms are most apparent) he features one of the most convincing gun modes of any robot and is amongst the rarest of pre-transformers.

Micro Change Cassette DX3 - MIB - £700

One of the hardest of all Microchange items to find. This set features the first three original cassette robos (MC-01, MC-02 and MC-03) swaddled in deluxe giftset packaging. All contents are in mint deadstock condition and the set comes complete with unnaplied sticker sheets, manual and catalogue. This and the blue minibots are usually the last things to be ticked off any serious Microchange collectors list!
